About
The Canberrans was a project devised by Newcast Studios, and developed in collaboration with HerCanberra, Salon Canberra and Lonsdale St. Studio. It ran across several months in 2020 as a podcast – available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and more – and a video series posted on HerCanberra’s own website.
It featured guests such as Nik Bulum, Dahni Gilbert, Stephen Byron, Sophia Hamblin Wang, Dave Caffery, Cath Ingram, Dr Sophie Lewis, Georgeina Whelan and Saša Šestić.
I produced the branding for the series – including film style, logos, motion graphics and marketing collateral – and curated the podcast episodes and videos on social media with various formats for the promos. I produced a season trailer for both video and audio, managed the backend of the podcast, including podcast episode descriptions, and also did the behind-the-scenes photography as part of marketing.
