“self destruct” is the title track from Peach Lane’s sophomore EP — a dreamy, slow-burn song about accidentally falling back in with an ex you thought you broke up with. Originally sketched out in 2020, this Canberra band's track sat quietly on hard drives as the band searched for the right collaborator to bring it to life.

Enter Gia Ransome. The moment she joined the project, it clicked. Gia penned the bridge the band had only imagined and added the lush, layered vocals that gave “self destruct” its final shimmer.

To bring the track to the screen, Peach Lane turned to Sunlight Queenz, whose choreography lit up the music video with raw emotion and movement. Seán O’Gorman captured the performance with cinematic precision, tying together the visuals with a track that was years in the making.
